However, there was limited storage and seating with only two rickety stools. The service was exceptional, with personalized and warm assistance throughout my stay. The secluded location of the hotel fit perfectly with its theme and offered easy access to restaurants around Gion and the river. The dining experience exceeded my expectations, although western dishes were a bit disappointing. Overall, a great value for money with some minor room limitations.
